Dear Friends and Partners,
With grateful hearts, we are delighted to share a significant milestone: As of May 1st, I, Rick, have officially stepped out of the role of Executive Director at Strong Harvest, and we’re thrilled to announce that Megan Peterson has stepped in as our new Executive Director! This transition has been in the works for the past two years – an exciting season of growth and change. Megan has been an essential part of Strong Harvest for over 12 years, and in the past year and a half, she’s been overseeing day-to-day operations and guiding our field staff with skill and dedication. We couldn’t be more confident in her leadership.

It’s been incredibly humbling – and a great honor – to have worked alongside so many wonderful people over the years. Churches, organizations, individuals – all united in a shared goal: to bring practical, lasting solutions to poverty.
Jeri and I are deeply grateful to God for allowing us to serve in this work and for faithfully providing everything needed to make a difference in lives and communities around the world.

We’ve seen firsthand how knowledge can spark hope, dignity, and change. What continues to drive us forward are the stories of transformation – especially among the most vulnerable. Some of our most treasured reports come from families who, after receiving Strong Harvest Peer Educator training, put it into action and change the lives of their children.
Stories like those of Samweli in Tanzania and Gracia in Togo, both born prematurely, and Benjamin in Nicaragua (pictured at top, with his mother), who was seriously ill at just two years old.

Although we’ve passed the leadership baton, Jeri and I are still “all in”. We hope to spend time in the field encouraging our teams and contributing to the mission in new ways.
