Pastor Dolores at Luz y Vida (Light and Life) in Leon, Nicaragua

We recently received a great report from Nicaragua!  Pastor Dolores at Luz y Vida (Light and Life) church and school in Leon sent us the news about how their Moringa Project is going.  The Peer Educators that Strong Harvest trained in January 2013 are planting trees and moringa is being added to the meals for 110 kids at the school (5 days a week) and 70 people each Sunday are eating moringa as part of their afternoon meal together.  They are already seeing changes in the health of the kids!  Pastor Dolores tells us that some of the kids who had been suffering with anemia recently took exams that went very smoothly.  She is convinced that moringa is making a difference for these kids!

Pastor Dolores also reports that she is now controlling her high blood pressure and diabetes by eating a daily diet rich in fresh moringa leaves.  She is a true believer in the nutritional benefits of moringa as she’s experiencing them in her own life and is seeing changes in the health of the school children. Dolores is an amazing advocate for Strong Harvest and is sharing her new-found knowledge of moringa with everyone knows!
