With the new year here, we’re looking forward to continuing the practical, community-led work that helps families build steadier lives.

We work in developing-world communities to empower people with good nutrition and simple income opportunities — skills that help break the cycle of poverty and malnutrition.

Here’s a story illustrating the simple power of our work.

A Neighbor’s Story: Mr. Friends Lackson – Lackson Village, Malawi

In August 2025, our Field Partner Moshi visited Mr. Lackson’s home in Malawi. Mr. Lackson had experienced repeated hospital visits for high blood pressure.

Moshi explained how the moringa tree can be used as a nutritious crop and shared the benefits of including leaves and powder in everyday meals. Mr. Lackson began using moringa regularly.

By October he called to say he felt much better and attributed those improvements to his new moringa usage. By December he reported being able to carry out daily tasks without difficulty. He was overjoyed, laughing as he said he now felt like a healthy person again!

Today, Mr. Lackson has 21 moringa trees on his property and says moringa has significantly improved life for his family!

Looking Ahead in 2026

Stories like Mr. Lackson’s remind us why steady, local work matters. This year we’ll continue supporting our trusted local field workers as they run practical workshops and help families access better health and increased income through simple tools — the same reliable work we’ve done for 14 years.
