This is what we’re talkin’ about! Meet Fritzner Mompoint, Strong Harvest Peer Educator and Storyteller Extraordinaire in Haiti! We received this letter from Fritzner just last week:
Here is a brief story of my starting teaching and helping other Haitian to know and using Moringa in the North of Haiti.
Lory, Limbe, Masabielle , are those three villages visited and would like to get back to follow them up and keep train people there, about the importance of using Moringa. I plan and praying to invite more church leaders’ friends to join my family and spread those information as well as we can. I do believe, if Jesus gave His blood to provide new life to sinners (people), Moringa contains enough Vitamin to make a person very healthy even poor they are.
Here is a church at LIMBE visited some months ago before I partake to Strong Harvest International’s conference, even done picture with Moringa trees they are using as their fence, I did not know exactly the importance of that tree until Mr. Rick and His team was invited me. Right after the conference I have got back to explain more about Moringa and share some example to those people who was there, it is very hard to believe me, however it is a true story: An old lady (around 45-40 years old) came in front and says that it is not real what I’m said to them and if you eat it Pastor Fritzner, I promised you will died. As I clearly understand Mr. Rick and other experiences I asked them to bring me some treated water, and wash carefully some leaves and eat them, she gave me three hours and after they will celebrate my funeral. I feel a little bit scared and asking, why she stands so firm about? The day I follow online the conference with Mr. Rick, the internet was not good, because of that I missed some very good part. As I keep washing my leaves, I asked myself: Fritz did you really understand everything Mr. Rick and other leaders said about Moringa? Sure! I’m replied to myself. However another question came up, Fritz did Mr. Rick not saying Moringa could be a poison if eaten fresh while your internet fall down? Believe me, I don’t know if it will be the best decision without talked with my wife and hear the voices of my two wonderful daughters before I pass away. Finally, I remember one phrase I read doing my first translated moringa document for Strong Harvest International: “MORINGA TREE OF LIFE” and right away I eat my leaves. I do believe if I’m still alive after God, it is just because of this small sentence.
Here is a very other poor village I went also MASABIELLE, where I feel people are very in need, saw a lot of malnutrition children, no drinking water (they drink water of river and something call “dlo sous” in creole, they don’t have any market place to by meat, no hospital, if they get sick they need to go to another place, driving motorbike like 4hours and more to get to hospital. So I feel my heart burning inside with a lot of passion to back there and help those people knowing that they can have life and get all the vitamin they need with using only one thing “Moringa”. We want there, because we hope to plant a church there pretty soon, but we feel not only people at Masabielle need only God’s word, but also a good diet, as we don’t have money to invite each of them to our family dinner or restaurant we would like to teach them how to use and planting Moringa and bring new life to those families.
Our village still in needs also LORY:
Our church would like to start sharing the importance of planting and using Moringa, because Grace Baptist Church of Lory exists to bring transformation to Northern Haiti. First , through the message of Jesus Christ and second teaching people how they can have a wonderful diet even they don’t have a lot of money.
Some other group of people, school would like to join us and ready to heard more about moringa pretty soon sincerely I would like to be the one who first doing that.
